What to communicate when you gather as a staff team

Church Staff meetings have a tendency focus on abstract theology, or boring logistics. But what should you take the opportunity to do when you get your staff together?
Make sure you celebrate each other’s wins.
Have people talk about how their thing went, how many people came along, what encouraging conversations came out of it, what their team of volunteers thought of how it went.
And then rejoice together.
This reminds the team that their ministries are not the be all and end all. It reminds the staff member that they’re part of a team of supporters, not a collection of co-workers. And it helps build a culture of what should happen outside the meeting.
Do in meetings what you wish would happen outside them.
